Mental Wellness▼ Board This simple chart helps students share their feelings. 這張簡單的圖表幫助學生分享他們的感受。
Erin Castillo is a caring special education teacher who is concerned about her students and their health. In the past, many of her students had problems that they were uncomfortable talking about. Castillo wanted to create a way for students to share their feelings. So, she came up with the idea for a mental wellness board. Here’s how it works. The wellness board is taped to a wall in her class. It has six categories▼ that range from “I’m great” to “I’m in a really dark place.” Students may write their names on a sticky note and put it on the board. This will let Castillo know how they are feeling so she can offer support. The board also helps students understand that they aren’t alone when they are feeling down. Castillo posted a photo of her board on social media▼, and her idea quickly spread. Now, teachers around the world are using mental wellness boards to help their students as well. The boards are an easy way to let students express their feelings without having to say a word.
