The solar system is the sun and the planets going around the sun. There are eight planets in it. In order of distance from the sun, they are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Scientists used to consider Pluto the ninth planet in the solar system. But they do not think that way now. Instead, they consider Pluto to be a minor planet. There are many objects like Pluto in the outer solar system. And scientists don't think they are planets. So they don't consider Pluto a planet anymore.
太陽系是指太陽和圍繞著太陽運轉的行星，共有八大行星。與太陽的距離從近到遠依序為：水星、金星、地球、火星、木星、土星、天王星和海王星。科學家曾認為冥王星是太陽系中的第九大行星，但他們現在改變了看法。他們認為冥王星是顆小行星。外太陽系有許多類似冥王星的物體，而科學家並不認為它們是行星。因此，他們不再把冥王星當作是行星。 |
