選出我們的首長 Choosing Our Leaders |
We live in a democracy. So we vote for most of our government leaders. We vote in elections. There are many different elections. There are local, state, and national elections in the U.S. In these elections, people run for different offices. In local elections, people vote for the mayor of a city. In state elections, people vote for the governor or congressmen. And in national elections, people vote for the president. So who can vote? Adult citizens have the right to vote in elections. They must be at least 18 years old by election day. Each citizen votes one time. When the voting is finished, each vote is counted. The person with the most votes wins the election. 我們生活在民主國家, 所以我們投票選出大部分的政府首長, 我們在選舉當中進行投票。 選舉有很多種類。 在美國有地方選舉、州選舉和全國大選。 在這些選舉當中,有人出來競選各種職務。 地方選舉時,人們投票選出市長; 州選舉時,人們投票選出州長或國會議員; 全國大選時,人們選出總統。 那麼,誰可以投票? 成年公民都有投票權, 他們必須在選舉日前滿18 歲。 每位公民可以投一票。 投票結束後會開始計票, 得票數最高的人就當選。 |
