Mr. Lin has left the company.
1. Mr. Lin has left the company.
I’m still at work. I’ll call you as soon as I leave the office.
The prime minister will leave office next month.
I’m sorry. Mr. Lin just got off (work).
2. Please leave room for disappointment.
Step back, leave room for people to get past.
Why leave room for doubt?
Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.
- (X)I'll leave the office for several months.
- (O)I'll be away (from the office) for several months.
- (X)I have bought the car for three years.
- (O)I bought the car three years ago.
- (X)I met an old friend when I went to London.
- (O)I met an old friend when I was in London.
- (X)I have joined the company for five years.
- (O)I joined the company five years ago.
- (O)I have been with the company for five years.
